Digital Inverter Welding Machine PATON™ StandardMIG 350 400V is designed for semi-automatic arc welding using the MIG/MAG method, gas-shielded arc welding using the TIG method, and manual arc welding with coated electrodes (MMA), using direct current (DC).
Devices from the “Standard” series are intended for home and semi-industrial use. The PATON StandardMIG 350 provides a 55% duty cycle at the full rated current of 350A without loss of performance or work quality. It is also worth noting that the machine achieves a 100% duty cycle at 260A. Its solid construction and ease of operation make working with the device trouble-free – simple settings allow for excellent weld quality. The use of a fully electronic control method in this series eliminates the disadvantages typical of multifunctional systems. The welding source is pre-set to optimal values, allowing even beginners to start working immediately. For more advanced tasks, the device is equipped with additional functions. A distinctive feature of PATON™ Standard series semi-automatic welders is the high-quality wire feeder, additionally sealed, as well as the integrated KZ-2 “EURO” type connector, which is a global standard and allows the user to choose any MIG/MAG torch according to their preference.
GASLESS WELDING FUNCTION – FLUX-CORED WIRE WELDING
All PATON MIG welders are adapted for welding with flux-cored wire. This type of welding, unlike the traditional MIG/MAG process, is carried out without shielding gas – however, it requires the use of a special welding wire. This wire creates its own shielding, helping to protect the welding arc. Flux-cored wire suitable for PATON welders can be purchased here – 5 kg spools are compatible with all our wire feeders.
BRAZING – INDUCTANCE CONTROL
PATON MIG welders from the Standard and PRO series offer brazing capability thanks to three-stage inductance adjustment. Inductance control allows optimization of the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the workpiece. This function is essential for adjusting the current flow rate when the arc voltage changes. The thinner the material being welded using MIG/MAG, the higher the inductance should be (soft arc – lower penetration), while for thicker materials the opposite applies (hard arc – deeper penetration).
PULSE FUNCTION
- PULSE in TIG method – full control of heat input into the material – ideal for welding stainless steel and acid-resistant steel
- PULSE in MMA method – easier transfer of material from the electrode to the weld pool, improved weld quality
- PULSE in MIG/MAG method – easier detachment of metal droplets from the end of the electrode wire, adjustable pulse current parameters. Pulsed MIG welding is useful for welding stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, and aluminum alloys. Additionally, pulsed welding provides better parameters for CuSi3 brazing
The machine features a synergic control function in pulse mode that automatically selects the optimal welding parameters, ensuring a stable arc and high weld quality.
